The branding evolution of Polola, a Mexican restaurant, was not just about redefining visuals; it aimed to weave a story of community connection into every customer interaction. 
At the heart of this transformation was the use of an Aztec bird as the main logo and icon, symbolising freedom, culture, and heritage. To bring this vision to life, we partnered with Barbara Albert from Alkot Studio, whose distinctive interior design style seamlessly blended with Polola’s new brand identity. Together, we integrated the branding elements into the restaurant’s physical space, ensuring every detail reflected both the vibrancy of Mexican culture and Barbara's unique design perspective. From the layout of communal tables to the use of colours and textures inspired by the Aztec bird motif, the result was an immersive space that celebrated collaboration, diversity, and shared experiences. Combined with a curated menu featuring authentic Mexican flavors, Polola transformed dining from a transactional experience into a relational one, creating lasting memories rooted in the rich culture of Mexico.
