Aalto
Aalto is a boutique Australian management and economics consultancy specialising in government infrastructure, business case development, and economic analysis — work that, over the past decade, has helped deliver billions of dollars in public investment. The firm was founded in 2017 by three directors — Dr Darron Cook, Claire Moritz, and Tobias Martin — who had each spent years at different consultancies before crossing paths. When they finally met, they discovered an unlikely common thread: the same Alvar Aalto lamp lived in each of their studies. The Finnish designer named the firm before they did.
By 2024, Aalto's reputation had outpaced its digital presence. They came to us for a new website to support two ambitions running in parallel: winning higher-calibre government work, and attracting the calibre of consultant to deliver it. The brief was to build a brand surface that matched the rigour of the practice behind it — quieter, more confident, designed for the reader who already knows what they're looking at. Evidence-based insights, as Aalto puts it. We made it visible.
